roses are red, violets are blue...
fuck you whore!! hahaha. (500) days of summer was a really good movie! great soundtrack, acting, and there were no boring parts at all. it made me feel like crap after though. it had a good message in the end though, on how to sort of get out of the feeling of hopelessness. but i swear whenever i try getting at a girl i always seem to relate to joseph gordon-levitt's characters in this movie and in 10 things i hate about you.

summa's over...
i had a fun summer, it seriously went by fast and now im officially a college student. time flies...its so crazy saying bye to friends as they go off to do bigger things out of state. especially much love goes out to tim who's now in bethel in minnesota and yonas who's out at perdue in indiana. tiffany moved out to san diego, but she came back 2 days later haha. in that day she was gone, i bought a macbook pro and we bought our new puppy, shia....lawoof! kinda cool how my parents actually let us have a dog, they've been saying no to us throughout our whole lives. it seems like the only way we could've gotten a dog is if tiffany moves out hahaha. nahh just playing, but he's been keeping us up almost all night. college started and to be honest it really doesn't feel like it yet, it feels like im in high school, but im here for like a weekend. its super crazy trying to get classes with these recent budget cuts, cutting 20% of the classes. petitioning is a real bitch. i petitioned for 7 classes this week, out of them i made it into 2 of them well so far. wish me luck on english 100f tomorrow! im not doing choir over here anymore, so don't call me a choir boy anymore at least not until next semester hopefully. well as of now, wish me luck! haha lame -______________-

My Summer
the summer has been interesting, but also bittersweet...
upside:
graduation, grad nite, grad parties
disneyland 11 times
chillin with friends (random movie nights, swimming, trips to the beach, getty, etc.)
midnight movie premieres, great summer movies
in my opinion, the craziest off-season in the nba since 2004
(which included shaq, t-mac, steve nash, and more getting traded)
lakers re-sign lamar odom and pick-up ron artest!
downside:
R.I.P. Cainaan Wendt, Michael Jackson, Farrah Faucett, Ed Mcmahon, and Billy Mays
couldn't get any classes at fullerton college
no summer love...whateves man
scissor lock....scary shit man hahaha

are you serious?!
i realized i didnt post about the crazy off-season for the lakers. are you serious? wtf is wrong with ariza and odom? ariza i dont really give a shit because ron artest is hell of a lot better than ariza i just dont like his attitude. he's basically kobe's dennis rodman. so tell me why kobe's scottie pippen (lamar odom) isn't even responding to jerry buss? to be honest now im pretty annoyed by him. he bullshitted the lakers and fans so many times saying he would sign for less just to be in la. now they offer him a little over 9 million and it is still not enough. 9 million is good for a roll player in today’s economy. Most teams don’t even want to spend lot of money cause of the 2010 FA market. Odom should just sign cause I know he wants to be here. Why else would he recruit Artest? think about it fisher:harper kobe:jordan artest:rodman odom:pippen gasol:longley am i coming onto something here? all i could say is wtf odom we need you. if he finds another team, then i say we try boozer or bosh haha

R.I.P. Cainaan Wendt
wow i still don't believe your gone man. you were such an amazing person and you were freaking hilarious. i remember meeting you in 7th grade pe ms. akers and we were always owning on the basketball courts with the help of jordan, ryan, aldric, and yonas. then, you went to townsend the next year i think. we ran into each other alot and you still remembered me. other than just saying wassup we didnt really talk to each other till summer school last year. you, michael, and emerald made that class super hilarious and tons of fun. i remember you talking about how samoans are a dead ethnicity here in chino hills and that you and your family are the only samoans here. haha you're the dopest samoan i know man. even though we didnt really chill that much, the whole vibe was chill. i remember trying to look for you to sign my yearbook, but we never had the time. before grad nite i remember messing with you saying "damn cainaan you graduated?!" everyone was laughing and you were like "asshole" haha. you know it was just fun and games. i completely remember jerkin with you at grad nite, that shit was dope. you were like "joe i like your style man." i think the last words i said to you was "thanks." the more i think about it i love how the last thing i said to you was thanks. i truly mean it, thanks for being a homie. thanks for the memories. especially thanks to your family in raising such an amazing person. at least i know that you're in a better place now. keep jerkin in heaven man. say hello to michael jackson for me.
God bless man and ill see you soon,

The Masterpiece
alright well i guess im really happy that im leaving high school. im sick of all the little groups there are. mainly aiming at the typical all filipino popular groups. its really annoying!!!!!! i swear they're just gonna be doing the same thing they are doing right now for like the next 10 years not making anything of themselves, not graduated yet from college. really if you look at it now, how many of them graduated on time? haha ok maybe i was a little harsh i meant to say 8 years....that sounds more realistic. i hate how the girls are all the same. its funny how i know how people are gonna turn out and also how i always turn out to be right. i should be paid for this shit haha. way back in like 6th grade i remember saying who is going to turn out where in high school, who is going to turn out as the high school jock and who is going to be future prom queen, etc. my predictions were about 90% right haha. to think these people said before that they wouldn't turn out like the older kids drinking all the time and that its stupid haha. its a shame to see how the people who are different in those groups leave and they join a new group that ends up doing the same thing they would be doing if they stayed. hahaha they can never be recycled once they're in. its a good thing i was aware of what would've happened and i didn't give in. sometimes i think im too old for my age when it comes to that stuff. it pisses me off to see pictures of people who i thought were different from all that, people whom i thought were clean. it ruins your whole perspective on that person and from then on the only thing you see in them is that. its annoying how people who behave like that think they can have like a double life, a life at church and a lifestyle like that. you have to choose one or the other! they say they've been changed for the better and then they turn around and smoke weed. you can't party with drugs and party with the eucharist, it don't work that way! im sorry! i'll admit im not perfect, i've done some things im not proud of like drinking and smoking...it just aint my thang. if its yours, then im not stopping you. i just dont need to drink/smoke for happiness or fun that's what friends are for and if your friends are that boring sober then maybe you should get new friends. if you're in college and this implies to you think back to junior year in high school, were you any different than you are today? hahaha im not jealous or anything, im just really disappointed in some people who i thought i saw Christ in.

rip king of pop
wow i cannot believe this at all. michael jackson was one of my idols, now all who's left (besides fam) is michael jordan and kobe. im still in shock, he was a big impact on my life. i loved the way he electrified everyone with his amazing performances and basically everywhere he walked there was destined to be tons and tons of people. its such a shame how during the last years of his life everyone brought so much negativity and isolated him, i never did. he was very misunderstood and misjudged. he will be missed forever, but will live with us through his music. he was truly one of the greatest, if not, the greatest performer this world has known.

LAKERS!!
2009 NBA CHAMPIONS, THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS!!! WOOO!!! best feeling ever! i can't believe it, i've waited 6 long ass seasons for another laker championship im so grateful that the lakers did it!! kobe and fish get their 4th championship rings and phil jackson passes the great red auerbach with 10 championships. the lakers have come a long way since 2002 (the last championship) 2 seasons where they were at the finals, seasons when they didnt make the finals, seasons they lost to the suns, and to the horrible season not even making it to the playoffs. its amazing how far we've come kobe bryant wanted a trade, had trouble with kwame, smush, and etc., its crazy! i began tearing up on sunday during the last minute of the finals.

high school!
wow can't believe i'm done with that place now. im amazed of how fast it went, best 4years of my life hands down! its kinda crazy to think about how fast time really does fly, i mean i can still think back to many things...from the many girls i liked that always ended in failure to the crazy math teachers that don't teach that also ended in failure to my change in styles to the awkward dances to the okay dances to the bomb ass dances to my confirmation retreats and ceremony to the great times in C103 and the places we traveled and to the many more things that made my high school career the way that it is. so many things have happened that have changed and molded me into the person i am today. i used to let things get to me, but throughout my senior year i was telling myself im not going to think about what could've been and just live it out. i did just that. i can't complain about anything that have happened throughout high school because im happy for the way that it unfolded. quite frankly the juice was truly worth the squeeze.i did so many things that i didnt expect out of myself. i never would've thought i'd.....

vocal ensemble....
thank you for everything! i love every single one of you guys. i can't believe i'll be leaving soon and that our last performance was this past friday. hopefully i join another choir later on. i know that no other choir is ever going to be the same as ayala vocal ensemble. you guys are truly amazing both on and off the stage. i loved that i had a family at home, a big family at church, and also a family of 24 at school. i am honored to have been in vocal these past 3 years. i'll never forget the wonderful times i've had in room c103 and also on the past choir tours. honestly if i could rewind and repeat the year i wouldn't change a single thing about vocal. four years of choir done....now what? i'll come and visit you guys next year, not like gordy status, but my sister is joining you guys next year so i'll most likely be there. as for men's ensemble, i'll never forget that first year i experienced in men's in my freshman year. i can't believe i missed oh shenandoah, not going to happen again next year.

very sad....
we're learning "in this very room" (traditional vocal song, sang every year) right now and it's making me really sad. i started thinking to myself, damn is the year really almost over?! fuck i know im gonna cry a freaking river before and after candlelight. i started on that thing that the seniors do at candlelight (can't say, don't know who's reading this.) i just can't believe that i'm going to be leaving, let alone GRADUATING. this year was the best and the fastest year of my life. its very weird saying that it "was" when i still have about 2 weeks left of high school. damn, candlelight is already next week. i've never been so damn close to vocal ensemble. we went through so much...

lately
i've been pretty chill. a girl i really wanted to ask to prom is going to my friends debut on the same night, good thing i heard because i would've felt bad by taking her away from the debut. also two other girls i was considered also got asked, but recently i got a prom date last week: joanna holliman!! can't wait till prom! oh and also did my first and final class comp.

first things first..
i tried getting at this girl when we were in peru, but her friend she was with all the time is super hard to talk to. im more mad at myself for letting her friend get in the way haha. other than that i had a blast in peru, i loved this tour because it was so different from the past 4 choir tours i've ever been on. my room was the shit, we have so many inside jokes and quotes now that we're gonna keep saying for a long time haha. this was an actual choir tour not the typical hella chill sight seeing and winning a trophy because were the only choir thats good tour haha. this peru tour was just a little taste of how choir tours are going to be like in college if i do choir. we put so much hard work into this tour. i got to sing with an orchestra for the first time in my life, but they sucked haha. ayala is on the map now and we got invited to i think all the countries that were there. i made some new friends from all over the world especially from columbia and ecuador just wish i could've gotten to know them better and im afraid im not going to see them again. playing ninja was the best idea because everyone wanted to play and it was so much fun and we attracted a big crowd. damn i miss peru already!! i want to go back, but this time im going to machu picchu! pictures coming soon...

wow!
i am at loss for words right now. im having the time of my life! senior year is the greatest school year of my life so far. quick recap since my last entry: winter formal was fun, music man was a success with sold out shows almost every night, i gave up rice and chipotle for lent, vocal did great at mt sac festival, i took my mt sac placement test which was easy peasy lemon squeezy fasheezy, i facilitated a great group of guys for con 1 retreat where i got sick (and still am), went to philly, new jersey, and NEW YORK! for our choir tour, failed at getting at my tc who is super super quiet hahaha, had a blast at tour winning many many awards, came back and vocal ensemble won 1st place at the golden state competition, #1 in CA WOOOOOO!!!!!, dropped my math class for a free period and i was too sick to go to pennies for change, but had tons of fun at sadies the same day. sadies was great! seriously one of the best dances i've been to.

its been a while...
lately i've been good. school is going by great even though i have a 6th period. im trying to make the best out of my final year of high school. i got nominated for most shy even though im not even shy anymore. im just usually shy at first, but when someone wants to talk to me i usually open up. so far, this school year has been chill, there isnt much to complain about with the exception of the first few months of school (recovering from the heartbreak). im kinda at a weird state right now i kind of want to graduate but also i kinda dont. there are some people who id rather want to see anymore for at least a good 10 years at high school reunion like for example this fool that no one likes because he's an arrogant dick that wears safety goggles with no lenses everyday. i just can't believe i only have 3 months of high school left its a bittersweet kinda feeling. anyways MUSIC MAN is going by great, its truly been a very fun experience for me. FINAL SHOWS WEDNESDAY TO SATURDAY THIS WEEK!! i have a much deeper respect for the drama program at ayala. i just wish i could've thought about being in musicals before. while at it i've made some good friends and a stronger friendship with some. CROSS TRAINING is amazing as usual, im going to miss next week's meeting due to music man. i dont even know what's been going on lately in cross training like what events we have coming up. VOCAL ENSEMBLE, i agree with mr. josh himes that were being sluggish. i'd definently blame it on the lack of sectionals people are having. music man has been taking up my time and cross training so the tenor section hasnt really had a decent sectional since about 2 weeks ago. 2 sectionals a week is hard work. the tenors were on a roll 2 weeks ago. we learned our songs and blended well etc. we've just been paying attention to our disneyland music the past week. this weekend was all star weekend and i missed the whole thing, luckily i recorded it. my valentines day was spent pretty well matinee show for music man and evening show. yup it was quite a fun single awareness day.

love is here!
love is here by tenth avenue north is my favorite song at the moment. it clearly explains last weekend on the confirmation 2 retreat. i facilitated such an amazing group of brothers along with my good friend pat 112, we all bonded from the very beginning. everyone in my group opened up and they truly invested on the weekend. at the meals we would play that wu-chuck game haha bunny bunny and we were really loud and caught everyone's attention. hmmm.... let's see since then, i've been pretty good. im in a spiritual high and the weekend just made me realize exactly how much i love cross training. i really love cross training and i want to continue with this ministry for many years to come. that is all. bye
