awkward

this was a really awkward week for me. i patched things up with a friend last week and when we went back to school, my mentality was like okay, she's still kinda ignoring me, now what? haha. i just feel awkward around her now haha. i'll fix it though. anyways i've been alright lately. i havent been doing much of my homework, i have mad senioritis. i even had my mom take me to school at 2nd period because i didnt do this timeline project for first period haha. oh yeah i tried out for boars head and omg that tray is so freaking heavy i can't imagine how heavy itll be with the boars head on it. im not saying that i have the solo i dont even really consider myself that good. im pretty humble, but everyone keeps saying to me its so yours. eww i heard a rumour from a lot of people from choir and im just so disgusted lol. on the other hand, i feel very blessed that now i am on the staff list for the next confirmation 2 retreat in december. i really want to be a workerbee because i don't feel like i'm ready to be a facilitator quite yet especially to teens that are one year younger than i am. i was really suprised when i heard richelle call my name because there are some people that i feel are more prepared to staff on a retreat, let alone the con 2 retreat, than me. so this means that im going to miss out on the pacquiao fight and the obey sale, but whateves. i pray that i have a good week, a good thanksgiving, a black friday or in this case brown friday because im so going to rooted on friday for brown friday.

YAY!!!

i love this weekend. i feel really really good. finally i settled things with my good friend kim. she went on retreat and i wrote a short letter to her and she replied with alot to say. i'm not gonna go into detail cuz its no of yo business and plus i dont know everyone who reads my blogs. anyways my weekend was tight, i'll have to admit there were some bad parts i guess like the fires obviously, the lakers lost, but it was their first loss and also i found out my part in the musical and i am marcellus, but im the understudy and to make matters worse i am craig's understudy haha thats what i get for always making fun of him haha. (just for the record, i dont hate craig, he's just one of those people who you'd love to make fun of because he doesnt do anything about it haha.) on friday i had rehearsal, welcomed the retreatants and helped with the loading of the buses. most of the teens that were there looked like they didn't want to be there and when sunday came, they looked like total different people. i truly saw God's love in them.
on saturday, i watched quantum of solace in the morning at like 11 with some people from choir. quantum of solace was a good movie, but i kept remembering that it was a bond movie so i was like ugh points off haha. i expected it to be better, but im still satisfied with the way it turned out even though he only did one chick instead of the usually two and always i was ticked that he didnt say "bond, james bond" or "shaken not stirred" i was like are you serious? he really isn't gonna say it? its a bond movie haha. the actor, daniel craig (idk how his last name is spelled, but whatever) doesnt really look like a james bond type to me, but according to the books, thats how james bond should really look like. i guess its because i grew up with pierce brosnan as james bond. sean connery without a doubt is the best james bond.

later on, i went to prayer warriors with the cross trainers who didnt go on retreat, there was around 10 of us though and we were praying for the retreatants and the cross trainers who went on retreat. i went to my friend matt's house and we played gears of war 2 for a little while, but then we heard that the fire was spreading to chino hills. yesterday was cool, i went to piano lesson, went to mass early to help out with passing out the candles to the parents, stayed after mass to listen to testimonies and watch the slideshow, went to sandra's with all the cross trainers because they eat there after every retreat and went home. i found out that i didnt have school today and so i stayed up till like 2ish and so far all i did today was go to bravo and play nba 2k8.

its been a while

my blogs were starting to get repetitive. im only gonna post on different days haha. even though i didn't fully agree with either candidate because they each had their pros and cons (i was leaning towards obama more), im happy to say that the better man won. last tuesday was great, john mccain and barack obama both had great speeches that made me feel proud to be an american (that sounded lame, but its true). i am also happy that proposition 8 passed. im not against gay people, im just against the idea of gay marriage. it ruins the sanctity of marriage which should be between a man and a woman. pretty old, but "its adam and eve, not adam and steve." God created a woman from adam's rib, not another man.



woo!! thanksgiving is almost here, meaning christmas time is also almost here! december is gonna be a fun-packed month. december con. 2 retreat (first time facilitating (hopefully)), mad feaste!, vocal party at heather's, me turning legal!, and can't forget about CHRISTMAS! i just love the overall feeling of christmas. i wish i had that feeling all throughout my life haha. i might sound like a hypocrite for posting this because i love getting presents, but you should really watch this video it makes you think:



anyways, i've been pretty good lately. my halloween was dope (dont wanna get into details, but it involves a girl), i wanted to see my baby cathy nguyen perform the day after but i wasnt feeling good, im trying out for the school musical "music man", we did okay at the festival at fullerton college, and the last couple days have been good, we beat the huskies 18-17. im really loving this 4 day weekend haha, even though i dont have any plans.
