love

today in english we were having a discussion and journal entry about love. the topic was to describe love and why do we seek it. i said that love is that tenderness you have inside where you care so much for something and we look for love because it is a neccessity of life. everyone wants love, you feel positive and optimistic. when we were talking about it, marie had a good point. she was saying that you can't really look for love, you have to let it come to you. most of the time when you look for love you ended being screwed over. that was pretty ironic to me because i liked marie, freshman year and thats kind of how it turned out, i didnt really talk to her much after freshman year until this school year haha. after school, for vocal tenors, we had sectionals and we were talking about this subject haha. i came up with the weirdest reality and i didnt know where i was going with it though haha. i thought of the phrase "there's plenty of fish in the sea." i said that the ocean is kind of like love. its rocky at some parts and it takes you places. so i started calling it the ocean of love haha the waves take you places it takes you to the end and it breaks and you're out of love and sometimes it takes you to a river. fresh waters like some sort of fresh love hahaha. today was pretty dope meng. its a thursday so it was pretty much a given haha.
